Temples of India and Nepal --Main Temple of Kalyaneshwar Shiva,Kalna,Madhubani,Bihar

The above three photographs were sent to me by Bhakta Raman Kumarjee today on 15-08-2012 while I am in Holland (The Hague). These are the rare photos of Baba which are being uploaded for the bhaktas of Kalna. Please accept my apology for any kind of mistake found over the blog.

The Kalyaneshar temple is existent since the time immemorial. Brihad Vishnu Purana has   mentioned  this temple in following words-----------------------        "Yamye siddhi pradam lingam Kalyaneshwar Namkam".
On the Kalna - Bishaul REO Road the inner- temple premises contains apart from the Main Temple the temples of Anand Bhairav, Kaal Bhairav, Hanumanji and the temple-kutia of Baba Paramhansa whereas in the outer premises the Baba's temple is situated on the bank of Kalna Pokhar (Pond). On the eastern side there is a Chandra-Koop(Well), the sacred water of which is used for pouring on Shiva lingam during the Puja by the devotees. There is also a temple of  God Vishwakarma outside the temple premises.

Baba's rarest picture provided by his earnest disciple Mr Surendra of Girja khadi Bhandar
He told me that this picture was one of his earliest picture taken at Kalna when Kalnasthan was not so developed and was situated amidst forest trees.
